Hydrogen Lab - Lews Castle College

In 2005 the Comhairle allocated £163,200 to an opening phase of the Outer Hebrides Hydrogen Project. This initial phase consisted of an array of projects part funded by the Comhairle. The most prominent of these was the establishment of the Hydrogen Lab at Lews Castle College, a facility that was developed in conjunction with the Highlands and Islands Objective 1 Partnership Programme, Lewis Windpower and Lews Castle College.
